We are going to try integrating herbs and other vegetable garden plants into our regular landscape. We found a lovely little rosemary plant on sale for $4 (it was from the Christmas holiday) that we planted in our front yard. We figure it'll be easy to run out there and pick some for cooking that way, and it looks nice. I doubt most people will even realize it is an edible if they walked by our house! It is still winter here right now, which is why the center island looks so rough and there is no real green grass.
